Some cracking can appear on the skin. Black Algiers has a round shape, and grows to medium size, around 30-50 grams. The red pulp contains visible seeds and has a good seed crunch. Black Algiers trees are recognizable by their short leaves with wide lobes. Most leaves will have 3 lobes. Exact timing is weather dependent, but we usually start in November. Shipping continues throughout the winter and early spring. We stop shipping when the trees begin to break dormancy, normally around mid-March.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e**All non-rooted cuttings ship between November and March regardless of the date selected during checkout. Orders placed during our pre-sale period(October\/November) will ship out first in November\/December. If you are rooting your cuttings in the spring, our cuttings can be kept in the refrigerator until you are ready to root them. They will be perfectly fine.
