This variety is good for transport, has good resistance to rain, and has a tightly closed eye.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOne of De La Senyora Hivernenca’s unique qualities is its short hang time. Although this is a late variety, figs often only need 4 days of hang time on the tree to fully ripen. That makes it easier for growers to collect more of the crop that would often be lost to dropping or pests. Exact timing is weather dependent, but we usually start in November. Shipping continues throughout the winter and early spring. We stop shipping when the trees begin to break dormancy, normally around mid-March.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e**All non-rooted cuttings ship between November and March regardless of the date selected during checkout. Orders placed during our pre-sale period(October\/November) will ship out first in November\/December. If you are rooting your cuttings in the spring, our cuttings can be kept in the refrigerator until you are ready to root them. They will be perfectly fine.
