In fact, this mix of colorful skin can actually get a grayish cast to it when the figs are ripe. The skin is soft and sweet and the figs have medium firmness. Lloral figs are small, weighing in around 30 grams each. The figs have a red\/brown pulp with small seeds that give it a nice texture. The pulp is jammy and has a red berry flavor with a bit of tartness to round it out. Exact timing is weather dependent, but we usually start in November. Shipping continues throughout the winter and early spring. We stop shipping when the trees begin to break dormancy, normally around mid-March.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e**All non-rooted cuttings ship between November and March regardless of the date selected during checkout. Orders placed during our pre-sale period(October\/November) will ship out first in November\/December. If you are rooting your cuttings in the spring, our cuttings can be kept in the refrigerator until you are ready to root them. They will be perfectly fine.
