Their skin also displays a pattern of starry white dots. Negronne is a small variety that grows on small trees. The trees are good for container culture or small spaces. Inside these drop-shaped figs is a bright red and burgundy pulp. Upon taking a bite, you'll notice these figs have a thicker skin and a sweet berry flavor. Negronne trees produce large, 5-lobed leaves, and 2 crops of figs. The main crop of figs tends to ripen around mid August and continue producing until early October, depending on growing conditions. Exact timing is weather dependent, but we usually start in November. Shipping continues throughout the winter and early spring. We stop shipping when the trees begin to break dormancy, normally around mid-March.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e**All non-rooted cuttings ship between November and March regardless of the date selected during checkout. Orders placed during our pre-sale period(October\/November) will ship out first in November\/December. If you are rooting your cuttings in the spring, our cuttings can be kept in the refrigerator until you are ready to root them. They will be perfectly fine.
