The tree produces attractive, large leaves with a soft, velvety texture and appetizing red fruits. The red skin has some spotting on it and is good for eating. The fruits have a delicate, longer neck that attaches to a round bulbous cavity filled with delicious pulp. Bite into this variety and you will be met with a berry flavor, but with more acidity that gives Red Lebanese BV the kick that makes it a little different than most varieties. The flavor has also been described as savory with a good seed crunch. Exact timing is weather dependent, but we usually start in November. Shipping continues throughout the winter and early spring. We stop shipping when the trees begin to break dormancy, normally around mid-March.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e**All non-rooted cuttings ship between November and March regardless of the date selected during checkout.  Orders placed during our pre-sale period(October\/November) will ship out first in November\/December.  If you are rooting your cuttings in the spring, our cuttings can be kept in the refrigerator until you are ready to root them.  They will be perfectly fine.
