Susser Georg will produce both a breba and a main crop, with the breba crop having long necks and the main crop having a more rounded shape. Inside is a reddish\/brown pulp. Like other EBT figs, Susser George has a sweet melon taste. The subtle cantaloupe flavors make Susser Georg light and refreshing. The figs have the ability to dry on the tree and have good attachment to the tree overall. Exact timing is weather dependent, but we usually start in November. Shipping continues throughout the winter and early spring. We stop shipping when the trees begin to break dormancy, normally around mid-March.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e**All non-rooted cuttings ship between November and March regardless of the date selected during checkout. Orders placed during our pre-sale period(October\/November) will ship out first in November\/December. If you are rooting your cuttings in the spring, our cuttings can be kept in the refrigerator until you are ready to root them. They will be perfectly fine.
